Bleeding Out: A Pantoum
by Spencer Gallup
I bled out in the snow after you left
the attack from you was all so sudden
we were walking, and then I felt the pain
I fell onto the snow surface, screaming.
The attack from you was all so sudden
but I did see the knife and your grin
I fell onto the snow surface, screaming
I felt my soul leaving from my body.
But I did see the knife and your grin
why and how could you do a thing like this?
I felt my soul leaving from my body,
and I knew you were going to leave me.
Why and how could you do a thing like this?
We were walking, and then I felt the pain
I then knew you were going to leave me
I bled out in the snow after you left.
