Do Yourself a Favor

You may be a subscriber,
But the days of being a follower
Are soon coming to an end

Here is prophecy in an email,
The promise of liberation
In a pitch to you

Soon, the time will come
When you will no longer be beset
With illness or cubicle demons

Soon there will be freedom
With writing, yes,
Your art will lead you out

To the land you have sought
At night in between lines
You never though good enough

And yes, there will be a guide
To download and to follow
So you may have your freedom

​And its price will be set
By the all other writers you know,
Well, surely you know some, right?
