stargazing
I trace galaxies
in your eyes

play-doh garden
his mind takes its shape
under thumbprints

rhododendron
petals fall and fall—
echolalia

sap and sinew
the deepest parts
of your mind

cinnamon dusk
shortening light settles
beneath her eyes

rudraksha
the peeling edges
of her fingers
