September Song
by Yash Seyedbagheri
deep dusk beckons fresh in spring
footsteps flitting with youthful
love of space and moonlight
but darkness comes early in September
a curtain snapped shut
legs waddling around crumpled leaves
in the mud
soon winter will leave them
frozen in deep ice castles
footsteps flitting with youthful
love of space and moonlight
but darkness comes early in September
a curtain snapped shut
legs waddling around crumpled leaves
in the mud
soon winter will leave them
frozen in deep ice castles
